Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua now known for his early morning walks and exercising, was on Monday on the streets of Kakamega.
Gachagua took to social media to encourage Kenyans to embrace regular physical exercising to keep fit.
He said: “Sustainable cities and communities encourage healthy lifestyles- including giving room for physical exercises for productivity.
“It was a pleasure taking my morning walk for the second day in the streets of Kakamega Town, in the company of the Secretary General of our party, UDA, the youthful and energetic Cleophas Malala.
“On the way, I bumped into our Cabinet Secretary for Labour Florence Bore also taking her walk, affirming the importance of physical exercise for optimal performance of the mind.
“With a nourished mind and soul, the pace is set to join our President, H.E William Ruto, in his busy working tour of Western Kenya as he rebuilds the Nation.”
