Why Zoho is offering Kshs 50,000 to those buying .ke domain

Technology company, Zoho is offering Zoho wallet credits worth Kshs 50,000 to anyone who has a .ke domain or is purchasing one either directly from the Kenya Network Information Centre (KeNIC) or through its registrars.

This is under a new partnership with KeNIC, a registry solely responsible for administering, managing and operating the .ke domains in Kenya. Under the partnership, Zoho will also provide training to enable customers of .ke domains to leverage cloud technology for rapid growth.

“The partnership is aimed to support Kenya’s move towards a digital-first economy by helping local businesses in their digital transformation efforts and promoting e-commerce. Through this collaboration, businesses will gain access to the tools they need to succeed online,” said Zoho Kenya, Country Head, Veerakumar Natarajan.

The users of .ke domain will be able to utilise Zoho Wallet Credits to purchase any of Zoho’s 55+ products, including Zoho One, a unified platform of over 50 apps, and Zoho Workplace, a unified enterprise collaboration platform.

Zoho offers its products in local pricing, and the company will be hosting training sessions to help .ke domainusers to optimally leverage its enterprise solutions to catapult their growth.
