Chipukeezy said the ticket cost of such events is usually equal to that of a drink. He said most artists end up spending a good portion of what they are paid in such joints by buying alcoholic drinks and other products sold in such establishments for themselves and their crew.

Therefore, Chipukeezy underscored the need for artists to find a way of selling their creative content directly to consumers and cut out commercial interests that were compromising creative content by insisting that they are regularly mentioned or given time to sell merchandise during events they sponsor.

He also called out artists for their flashy lifestyles. Chipukeezy wondered how an artists benefits moneywise after posting their latest vehicle on social media. He advised artists to invest in businesses that earn them money.
