Why Bolt Food has reduced payment circle for couriers to two days

Bolt Food courier partners in Kenya will receive their earnings two days before the regular pay-out cycle following the launch of an Early Cashout feature.

The Early Cashout will see courier partners reduce time taken to access their cash from the regular one week.

However, courier partners can request an early cashout if their account does not have any active blocks, a transaction is not in progress, or irregular activity is detected associated with the account.

Bolt Food Kenya, General Manager, Edgar Kitur, said: “Our network of courier partners is the lifeblood of our platform, and their welfare is paramount to us. We are constantly working to ensure their experience of joining and using the platform addresses their needs.”

Bolt Food has been available in Kenya since 2021 and provides food and grocery delivery services in Nairobi and Mombasa.

Bolt Food has over 3,000 Merchants and 6,000 Couriers.
