Veteran journalist Bernard Otieno has been appointed the Communications Director for the Sam Nyamweya Football Kenya Federation Presidency Campaign.
Otieno has more than three decades of newsroom and outside broadcast experience in news gathering and dissemination for both radio and television, with local and international experience, for both live and recorded transmissions.
“Together, we will work to ensure that the voices of players, fans, and Stakeholders are heard as we strive for transparency, integrity, and progress in the sport,” Otieno said.
With a distinguished career in sports journalism, Otieno is expected to offer experience and expertise in Nyamweya’s bid.
As Communications Director, Otieno will be responsible for shaping the campaign’s messaging, enhancing public engagement, and fostering transparent communication with stakeholders across the football community.
“His deep understanding of the media landscape and passion for sports make him an invaluable asset as the campaign seeks to revitalize football in Kenya,” said Sam Nyamweya, in a statement.
