Machakos Governor Wavinya Ndeti is appealing for the release of four people who have been missing since 16th December 2024.
Speaking at a Sunday mass at Mary Mount Catholic Parish – Daystar, Wavinya urged all the relevant state agencies to help locate the four people.
“It is unlawful to hold anyone incommunicado, please produce our children in court and let them be charged in a court of law,” said Wavinya.
She says the families of the missing people have since 16th December 2024 exhausted all available channels in their search, without any success.

Wavinya says the forced disappearances not only undermine public trust, but also violate the principles enshrined in the Constitution.
“It is the high time for everyone in our nation to realize that life is sacred and people’s lives belong to them and no one else has the right to take them,” the Machakos Governor said.
