Vivo Energy hosts Chinese business leaders ahead of Chinese New Year

Vivo Energy Kenya has hosted an exclusive dinner to mark the Chinese New Year, bringing together members of the Chinese business community in an effort to strengthen commercial ties and foster long-term partnerships.

The Friday evening event highlighted Kenya’s growing reputation as a strategic investment destination for Chinese firms, with partnerships spanning construction, manufacturing, logistics, infrastructure and industrial development.

These investments have contributed to economic growth, while also enhancing trade linkages, technology transfer and job creation.

Vivo Energy Kenya, the distributor and marketer of Shell products and services in the country, said it continues to play a key role in supporting this growth through the provision of reliable energy solutions that power businesses and industries.

Speaking at the event, Vivo Energy Kenya Managing Director Peter Murungi hailed the contribution of Chinese businesses to Kenya’s economy.
