The Kenya Association of Manufacturers (KAM) has confirmed Tobias Alando as the Chief Executive, effective January 2025.
Alando has been Acting Chief Executive of KAM since August 2024
He has over 20 years of experience in corporate vision execution, public policy development, government relations and stakeholder engagement.

KAM Chairperson, Jane Karuku, says: “We are excited to have Tobias Alando on board as the substantive Chief Executive for the Association. Our focus remains on efficient service delivery to our members and advocating for an enabling environment for a competitive manufacturing sector.”
Alando joined KAM in 2005 and has held several positions including the Head of Membership and Governance, and the Chief Operating Officer.
“I am honoured to be appointed to this role, and I am committed to leveraging my experience to support local industries to thrive and grow, and to contribute to the aspirations of the manufacturing sector,” Alando said.
