StarTimes Kenya has announced that it has acquired the commercial rights to broadcast all the matches of this year’s Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
On its social media platforms, StarTimes Kenya advised to ensure their subscriptions are up to date to watch the matches scheduled from 13th of January 2024 to 11th of February 2024.
StarTimes Kenya says those subscribing for a bouquet that has Sports Premium will catch all the matches both on their televisions and mobile devises.
“For the aerial decoder, Sports Premium is on Classic Bouquet at Kshs 999 per month. For the Dish decoder, Sports Premium is on Super Bouquet at Ksh 1,599 per month,” posted @StarTimesKenya on X in response to a question on the social media platform.
“Watch ALL matches of AFCON 2023 LIVE on Sports Premium ch. 246/252 and Sports Life ch. 243/253 starting Jan 13 or stream via #StarTimesON mobile app,” posted the firm.
The announcement comes a day after its rival, MultiChoice notified its DStv and GOtv subscribers that it will not air this year’s AFCON tournament that is being held in Ivory Coast.
