SportPesa CEO Captain Ronald Karauri has declared that he is in the race to be the next Member of Parliament of Kasarani Constituency during the August 2022 General Elections.
“In the course of the work that we have been doing in the community, both in sports and maternal health, many people have approached me to represent them so that we can make change together. Today, I declare that I will be in the race as their next MP in Kasarani,” said Captain Karauri.
Speaking at Kasarani Health Center, where SportPesa Foundation donated medical equipment for the maternity, Captain Karauri said that the people of Kasarani, and Kenya as a whole, need quality leadership that will champion issues in healthcare, youth employment and, more so, sports as a means of employment for the youth.
He said that SportPesa has shown that it is possible to develop sports to the highest level in the country and it is something that can be replicated in the country with the right leaders making the right laws.
“I can say, here and today, that together we will change the face of Kasarani Constituency,” declared Captain Karauri.
