SGA Security Kenya is supporting talent through sports by empowering underprivileged children and youth playing hockey through the Kenya Youth Hockey Development.
The support through the donation of goalposts has been ongoing since 2020 as part of SGA Security’sCorporate Social Responsibility.
As part of the donation, the Kenya Youth Hockey Development players held a special match dubbed ‘SGA Security’ in appreciation of the support received from the organization.
SGA Security Kenya Country Manager Lucas Ndolo said: “At SGA, we are committed to having a safe and secure world, and one way to do so is to make sure that our young people are supported through employment as well as through talent. We have been supporting the sport since 2020 and we will continue to do so because we believe in the transformative power of sports.”
Kenya Youth Hockey Development is an initiative focused on empowering underprivileged children and youth in Kenya through hockey. They have been coaching sports to underprivileged children, especially those living in informal settlements and creating opportunities through scholarships.

Erik Van Der Dussen from the Kenya Youth Hockey Development expressed appreciation to SGA Security for the support in ensuring the children keep nurturing their talents.
“For the children of Mwiki, these goal posts represent opportunity, motivation, and a sense of pride. We are grateful for SGA’s partnership and look forward to seeing this equipment make a real difference in the lives of young players,” said Erik van der Dussen, Founder of Kenya Youth Hockey Development.
SGA continues to empower the young people through sports, such as golf, as well as through art by supporting young artists from Mukuru Promotional Centre by helping them showcase their art in exhibitions.
