SasaPay waives transaction fees in January, February 2024

Digital payments service provider, SasaPay, has waived SasaPay-to-SasaPay transactionfees on its platform for two months.

The firm says the offer which ends on 29th of February, 2024, will see all person-to-person transfers, business collections, business payouts to SasaPay users, and payments for bills/tills, exempt from charges.

However, charges will be applicable for transactions involving external networks, deposits, or payments made outside the SasaPay ecosystem.

SasaPay hopes the waiver will help it net new users of its platform as well as make digital financial services more accessible.

“Kenyans can now enjoy SasaPay products, such as ‘Split Bill’ which enables users to share the bill while enjoying time together, without worrying about transaction charges,” said SasaPay, Chief Operating Officer, Daniel Njoroge.
