M-PESA customers are Wednesday being refunded the transaction fee for their first transfer they make to another customer as part of the telco’s celebration to mark its 24th anniversary.

Your trust and unwavering support have inspired us every step of the way.” said Safaricom, CEO, Peter Ndegwa.
Ndegwa says as part of the celebration, Safaricom will be appreciating its customers through a variety of service and product offerings such as special M-PESA surprises, merchandise giveaways, distribution of Mama Packs, transportation delights, and other exciting customer rewards.
