Raila displeased with arrest of protestors, harassment of journalists

Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party leader Raila Odinga is concerned about the conduct of the police during protests, accusing the law enforcement agents of violating the constitution by arresting protestors and harassing journalists covering the demonstrations.

“These actions are not only unacceptable but also a direct violation of the rights enshrined in our Constitution. The right to peaceful assembly, the freedom of expression, and the protection of journalists are fundamental pillars of our democracy,” Raila says.
