Twenty-three Kenyans students are set to proceed to various elite universities in Europe to pursue higher education studies under for the prestigious Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters programme this year.
Under the International Credit Mobility programme, 334 Kenyan students and staff who are currently pursuing their studies in 35 universities are scheduled to travel to Europe for studies during the period starting 2023 to 2025.
This is under the International Credit Mobility programme that offers study exchange for short durations, allowing Kenyan students to study in a foreign university for 2 -12 months and obtain credits which are then recognised at the sending institution as part of their degree.

The mobility ranges from 5-30 days, if part of blended mobility (a combination of physical mobility with a virtual component).
Erasmus Plus is a European Union flagship programme that supports education, training, and youth. The Erasmus programme has been running for more than 30 years. It has offered more than 1.2 million scholarships since then.
