Train coaches to be used for offering premium Madaraka Express service have been shipped in. In a social media post, Kenya Railways says the premium coaches were among coaches brought in to revamp passenger train services.
Customers using the premium services will experience comfortable sitting.
Kenya Railways says: “The much-awaited Premium Class Coaches are here. The four Premium Coaches are among a batch of ten economy class coaches, one dining car, one power car and four first class coaches. The offloading is taking place at the Port of Mombasa.”
Kenya Railways, which is the Standard Gauge Railway operator, says the premium coaches are expected to over unparalleled comfort and elegance for those travelling between Nairobi and Mombasa.
“Luxury at its Best. Elevating YOU to comfort, convenience, and elegance,” says Kenya Railways about the premium train service.
