Kenya’s online marketplace, Jiji, has been named the 2024 Best e-commerce platform of the year. The firm received the prestigious award in the “Business of the Year: Creating an Impact Online” category at the Digitally Fit Awards ceremony.

Since starting its Kenya operations in 2019, Jiji has over 4 million users visiting the platform monthly.
Awarded “Best E-commerce Mobile App of the Year” in 2023, Jiji offers a wide variety of products, and customer focus that has made it a top e-commerce platform in this year’s category.

According to the International Trade Administration, revenue in the e-commerce market in Kenya is projected to reach $900m in 2024, with the number of users expected to reach 12.26 million.
