Milk processor, Brookside Dairy is forging closer ties with other agriculture value chain players to help increase milk consumption.
Brookside Dairy Corporate Communications Manager Wilson Okong’o says this is part of efforts by the dairy processors to consolidate its market leadership in the country’s dairy sub-sector.
Okong’o says through symbiotic linkages with other agriculture sector players, such as those in the coffee industry, the processor was seeking to expand both its domestic and export portfolios for its dairy products by positioning milk as a perfect nutrition addition to coffee.

Agriculture and Food Authority, Coffee Directorate head Lucy Njine said the government was committed to providing an enabling environment for coffee growers to secure new markets out of the country.
