Healthcare workers in the counties of Mandera, Marsabit, Wajir and Garissa are getting ready for the upcoming El Nino rains in October.

Speaking during a training for the healthcare workers drawn from Northern and Northern Eastern counties, Garissa, Health Director, Aden Ibrahim appreciated the Ministry of Health (MoH) and the World Health Organization (WHO) for organizing the Integrated Case Management & Surveillance training.
Ibrahim said the training is vital for building healthcare capacity to detect, diagnose, and manage cases at the facility level.
