Five key EPL games to Stream on Showmax this weekend

These are the five key English Premier League matches to look forward to this weekend.

  1. Brighton & Hove Albion vs Southampton at the South Coast on Friday night

What better way to get your weekend up and running than a Friday night derby?

Brighton & Hove Albion will host Southampton for an all-South Coast clash between two attack-minded teams… with one pretty damn good at it, and the other less so.

Friday night shenanigans at the Amex Stadium should make for cracking entertainment.

  1. Crystal Palace vs Newcastle battle at Selhurst Park

The pick of the late afternoon matches on Saturday comes from Selhurst Park, as Crystal Palace and Newcastle United cross swords.

The Eagles and the Magpies are both looking to put themselves on the path for success and three points in this clash will set them up for a strong run into the festive season.

  1. West Ham vs Arsenal at the London Stadium

West Ham United’s season has been enormously disappointing thus far, and things could get even worse when Arsenal come to the London Stadium for Saturday’s early-evening kick-off.

The Gunners will back themselves to pick up three points as they look to get back on track in the title race.

  1. Ruben Amorin home debut in Manchester United vs Everton at Old Trafford

New Manchester United manager Ruben Amorin will make his home Premier League debut when Everton come to Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon.

It’s way too early to expect miracles from the Portuguese tactician, but beating a very average Toffees team on home soil is a bar his team will be expected to clear.

  1. An early title decider between Liverpool vs Manchester City at Anfield

Rub your hands together and get excited, a potential early title decider is heading your way on Sunday evening.

Liverpool, who have enjoyed an incredible run of form early in the tenure of Arne Slot, will welcome reigning champions Manchester City to Anfield for a clash which will either underline the Reds’ potential to usurp the reigning kings… or speak to the Citizens’ chances of claiming a fifth straight championship.
