The High Court has temporarily halted the declaration that Nominated Senator Gloria Orwoba is no longer a legislator by the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) Party pending the hearing and determination of a case she has filed challenging the process.
Justice Lawrence Mugambi has ruled that “a conservatory order is hereby issued suspending the implementation of the decision of the UDA Party Disciplinary Committee dated 16/05/2025 expelling the Petitioner herein as member of the UDA party and/or a nominated senator.”
